Hey animal lovers! This would be an awesome opportunity to check out what it would be like to work at a zoo!! This day camp is held at Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, MO and Moniteau 4-Hers in good standing can be reimbursed for attending!! Both Zoo Apprentice Day Camp and Junior Zoo Apprentice Day Camp participants will be submerged in unique animal experiences during your day, including:
Up close animal encounters
Veterinary practices and care facilities
Raptor rehab including care, welfare, and handling
Creating and providing appropriate animal enrichment
Working with animal ambassadors to create animal art
Behind the scenes access
Lunch will be provided.
Camps will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
