2021 has 4.2% of Moniteau County residents unemployed

Moniteau County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 287 people out of the 15,723 living in Moniteau County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Moniteau County has increased compared to the 4.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Moniteau County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Of the 6,590 people who had a job during that time, 12 were employed in the Armed Forces and 6,578 belonged to the civilian labor force.
