Missouri Midterms: House Republican Campaign Committee Inc. in a city in Cole County spends the most during Q2

House Republican Campaign Committee Inc. spent the most out of political committees among cities in Cole County during the second quarter of 2024.

It spent $90,756 on nine vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Campaign Expenses to Hannah Sutton, which is based in Jefferson City.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in cities in Cole County during the second quarter of 2024 came from Citizens to Elect Mike Kehoe. It spent $46,726 during the time period on four different vendors.

In the previous quarter, American Dream PAC was the biggest spender.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.

Political campaign financial data is often updated, leading to a sometimes incomplete picture of a committee or candidate's finances.
