Bob Onder, U.S. Representative for Missouri's 3rd congressional district, recently used his social media platform to address issues ranging from higher education transparency to student engagement in technology and the significance of Constitution Day.
On September 16, 2025, Onder highlighted concerns about college affordability during a committee meeting. He stated, "Today in @EdWorkforceCmte I had the opportunity to ask witnesses how we can reform transparency in the price of higher education. As the price of college has soared, it has become one of the biggest financial decisions a family can make. Unfortunately, many colleges are" (September 16, 2025).
The following day, he encouraged students in his district to participate in an annual coding event. Onder wrote on September 17, 2025: "Calling all middle and high school students in #MO03 Happy #NationalAppChallengeDay! I’m excited to announce that the Congressional App Challenge is back with its annual coding competition. Students can register online and submit their apps by October 30, 2025. This is your".
Also on September 17, Onder commemorated Constitution Day by reflecting on its historical importance: "On this day in 1787, our Founders authored the U.S. Constitution - the cornerstone of our Republic and the enduring safeguard of our God-given rights. Their vision of liberty, justice, and limited government has guided America for over two centuries. It is our solemn duty to" (September 17, 2025).
