Bob Onder, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and participant in the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing both infrastructure policy and proposed legislation concerning gender-affirming medical care.

On September 18, 2025, Onder shared details about a meeting with industry representatives: "Today, I met with #MO03 representatives from the @NSSGA. As a member of @TransportGOP, we discussed critical legislation that will strengthen our infrastructure, boost the competitiveness of our transportation networks, and fuel economic growth nationwide."

Later that day, he expressed support for new legislative efforts in Congress: "I’m proud to champion the Chloe Cole Act in the U.S. House of Representatives. It’s time to put an end to these barbaric chemical and surgical mutilations and empower the victims of these radical procedures. This bill will: Prohibit physicians, clinics, and hospitals".

The following morning on September 19, Onder continued his commentary on medical ethics related to gender-affirming care: "What happened to “Do No Harm” - a Doctor’s sacred oath? Chloe is one of thousands of children tragically misled by medical practitioners. Her story is heartbreaking, but it must be told - and it must be learned from. No child, and no parent, should ever be forced to endure this".

These statements come as part of ongoing national debates regarding infrastructure investments as well as legislative measures aimed at restricting certain types of healthcare for minors. The Chloe Cole Act referenced by Onder aligns with broader efforts among some lawmakers to prohibit gender transition procedures for individuals under 18 years old.

Onder's involvement with transportation policy reflects his committee membership focused on strengthening infrastructure—a topic frequently discussed at federal and state levels due to its impact on economic development.
