On October 1, 2025, Onder posted: "Thank you @RepublicanStudy for highlighting my letter urging @SecScottBessent to end tax subsidies for radical transgender surgeries. As a physician, I cannot stay silent. These procedures cause permanent, irreversible damage and taxpayers should not be forced to fund them."
