64 percent of applicants to William Woods University were admitted for fall 2018

At William Woods University, 83 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 71 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Fulton enrolled 2,302 students in fall 2018, including 935 in undergraduate and 1,367 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

63 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 29 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 64 percent of the 884 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 32 percent enrolled.
