WASHINGTON, D.C. – On May 23, Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03) questioned Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Sandra Thompson in a full House Financial Services Committee hearing entitled, “FHFA Oversight: Protecting Homeowners and Taxpayers.” During their exchange Congressman Luetkemeyer pressed the Director on her failure to protect homebuyers from the Administration’s harmful policies and FHFA’s social agenda that threatens the safety and soundness of the housing finance system.
