Census Bureau: 78.7% of people in Callaway County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 44,449 citizens living in Callaway County in 2021, 78.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 34,976 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 17,798 were male, constituting 50.9%, and 17,178 were female, making up 49.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Callaway County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
