Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation (MVR) has announced two virtual public hearings scheduled for October. These hearings aim to gather feedback on vocational rehabilitation services. MVR staff will address several key topics, including the implementation of an Order of Selection for services, reviewing Priority Categories for services, and exploring ways to enhance services for individuals with disabilities.

The first hearing is set for October 1, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., while the second will occur on October 2, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Participants can join these sessions online or by phone using the provided access codes and passwords.

Written comments are welcomed until October 15, 2024. Submissions can be mailed to Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation at their Jefferson City address, sent via email to info@vr.dese.mo.gov, or submitted through an online form.

Real-time captioning will be available during these events. For those needing additional accommodations, arrangements should be made in advance by contacting Tammy McSorley at the provided toll-free number or via email.
