How many H-1B petitions approved for employers classified under the Public Administration industry in Jefferson City News publication area during 2024?

In 2024, the only H-1B petition submitted by Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center Div of Missouri Department of Mental Health, the only employer classified under the Public Administration industry located across Jefferson City News publication area was approved, according to data provided by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub.

While the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry led the H-1B filings with 25 petitions, representing 62.5% of all submissions in Jefferson City News publication area during 2024, the next largest contributor was the Educational Services industry, which accounted for 10 petitions and represented 25% of the total. Among petitions from employers in the Educational Services industry, all were approved.

Compared to 2023, the Public Administration sector saw an unchanged number of H-1B petitions across Jefferson City News publication area during 2024.
