Bob Onder highlights healthcare investment and historical milestones in recent social media posts

Bob Onder, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 3rd district, shared a series of posts on his Twitter account in October 2025, highlighting local healthcare advancements, agricultural history, and the legacy of Christopher Columbus.

On October 11, 2025, Onder attended an event at Memorial County hospital, stating, "It was a privilege to join the ribbon-cutting ceremony at @MemorialCounty hospital to celebrate their new CT machine! A major step forward in delivering faster, more accurate diagnostic care for patients across #MO03 and surrounding communities." The addition of new medical equipment like CT scanners can improve diagnostic capabilities and patient outcomes in rural areas, where access to advanced technology is often limited.

The following day, October 12, 2025, Onder marked National Farmers Day by referencing Missouri's agricultural legacy: "In 1915, Missouri was the first to establish a statewide Farm Bureau - a critical milestone that helped define our legacy as a top agricultural leader in this country. On #NationalFarmersDay we recognize and thank the hardworking men and women whose grit and dedication keep our" The Missouri Farm Bureau remains one of the largest general farm organizations in the state, advocating for farmers' interests for over a century.

On October 13, 2025, Onder commemorated Columbus Day with a historical reflection: "Christopher Columbus’s voyage in 1492 opened the door to new frontiers of exploration and exchange, setting the stage for the rise of the modern world. Today, we recognize his courage - and vision - that helped discover what would one day become the United States of America. " Columbus Day has been observed as a federal holiday since 1937 and continues to be recognized by various public officials each year.

Missouri's role as an agricultural leader dates back to early initiatives such as the formation of its statewide Farm Bureau in 1915. Additionally, investments in healthcare infrastructure remain important for rural communities within Missouri’s 3rd district.
