Bob Onder highlights local business visits and student achievements in Missouri’s 3rd district

Bob Onder, U.S. Representative for Missouri's 3rd congressional district, recently highlighted local achievements and events in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On November 6, 2025, Onder expressed appreciation for the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) and a local business visit, stating: "Thank you to @NAPATweets for inviting me to visit @westcontracting, one of the four family operated asphalt plant and lab sites right here in Jefferson County! It was a privilege to meet Chris West and his dedicated team, whose hard work has strengthened the quality of our".

Later that day, he shared his enthusiasm for student artwork in St. Charles County and promoted participation in an upcoming contest: "Wow! Take a look at some of these incredible designs made by students right here in St. Charles County! A quick reminder to all middle schoolers - the deadline to submit your entry for St. Charles County’s first-ever “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest is November 21st. Good".

On November 8, 2025, Onder announced the involvement of local teams in a national technology competition: "In honor of #NationalSTEMSTEAMDay, I’m proud to announce that THREE teams from #MO03 are competing in the Congressional App Challenge - the first entries ever from our district. These talented student's will be using innovation, creativity, and technology to tackle real-world".

The Congressional App Challenge is an annual event designed to encourage student engagement with coding and computer science by allowing participants to develop original software applications.

Onder’s recent posts reflect ongoing efforts within Missouri’s 3rd district to promote STEM education initiatives and recognize community contributions through both industry visits and student competitions.
